Our “live webinar” options are pre-scheduled webinars that are presented with an instructor live via Zoom (phone, tablet, or desktop), and depending on the size of the class, lasts approximately 3.25 to 4 hours for owners, admins, and dispatchers, and 2.5 hours for drivers.
Training.
All attendees will receive specimen handling and transportation’s Best Practice Standards, HIPAA compliance, proper equipment including what kind of coolers and spill kits to use, how to maintain specimen integrity, safe specimen transportation, exposure control and how to use a spill kit.
Owners and Admin staff will also receive incident reporting, sales tips (includes handout), and an OSHA regulatory overview as it applies to medical courier services. Dispatchers will be present for incident reporting.
Certification. Upon completion of the class following receipt of your attendance form and verification via analytics provided by Zoom, we will issue to each attendee an electronic Certificate via email. Please note, they will be emailed within 24-hours of the completion of the class (not including Saturday/Sunday/Holidays). A Certificate will also be issued to the Owner of the company, in the Company name.
Manuals. A comprehensive and professionally bound Owner/Administrative manual that includes a company Exposure Control Plan is created for New Start-Up Companies, and for Established companies with dispatchers, a Dispatch manual is also included.
Manuals and the hard-copy Company Certificate will be uploaded to the nearest FedEx Office Print and Ship nearest you upon completion of training. Please note, these manuals can take up to three business days to process before they are ready for pick up by you or one of your representatives. A delivery option is also available for an additional fee.
Recertification is required every year by OSHA/Best Practice Standards and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. This live presentation with an instructor is a requirement for at least one representative from your company in a supervisory or ownership position to keep your company compliant, in addition to online or live training for the remainder of your applicable medical courier workforce.
As always, a variety of time slots are available throughout each month including some Saturdays to accommodate all schedules and time zones!
