BBP = Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control

The “webinar” option is a pre-scheduled webinar that is presented live through the GoTo Meeting app (phone, tablet, or desktop) and lasts 2.5 to 3.25 hours depending on the role of the attendee.

Webinars include specimen handling and transportation Best Practice Standards, HIPAA compliance, proper equipment including what kind of coolers and spill kits to use, how to maintain specimen integrity, exposure control and how to use a spill kit. Owners and Admin staff will also receive incident reporting, sales tips (includes handout), and an OSHA regulatory overview.

A comprehensive and professionally bound Owner manual is included with the Deluxe and Small Company option, and for established companies with dispatchers, a Dispatch manual is also included.

Annual recertification is required by OSHA/Best Practice Standards, and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

A variety of time slots are available 6 days per week to accommodate all time zones!

BBP/HIPAA Live Webinar Pricing

Company pricing is based on a sliding scale with volume discounts offered when the company pays in full for all attendees and coordinates all training into sessions with multiple-attendance (no single training sessions).

Training includes courier-specific Specimen Handling and Transportation which includes Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control based on OSHA CFR 1910.1030, also known in the industry to be “Best Practice Standards,” as well as HIPAA standards that would be applicable to a courier as well as their company (for New Start-Up Companies and Established Businesses).
